A Note From Our Founder
Hello Y’all!
We are so thrilled you have found us here at TheraCourses. The mission and vision of this platform has been growing in our imaginations and efforts for over 3 years. We are so excited to bring you what we’re confident will be a revolutionary change to the way we think about mental health care!
When I set out to make TheraCourses, my original goal was to make life easier for myself and my clients. I’ve taught the same parent workshop 4 times a year for over 3 years. Well, not only does it become repetitive and uninspiring, but it costs an arm and a leg! “There has to be a better way!” I thought. So, I set out to make a webinar style e-course!
It was only then we realized it could be much more than just the inaugural parent workshop! We could provide all sorts of resources and address so many of the problems facing the mental health care system today, making care accessible, affordable, and approachable!
Because this is a product not a service, we can reach beyond the geographic limitations of state licensure to be accessible anywhere, while still maintaining the highest standard of quality from licensed experts in their field! Plus, there are no waitlists: there’s simply no reason why people shouldn’t have access to the support they need, right exactly when they need it!
Ethical pricing in mental health care is possible for both the consumer and the provider. But only when looking beyond the one-to-one model. Clients deserve affordable care and treatment programs deserve reasonably cost resources amidst this very serious workforce shortage. No need to hire or reinvent the wheel within your program when the resources already exist.
Mental health discussions don’t have to be stiff and rigid and serious! Sure, academia and research is necessary in this field, but so is humanization! The only way to destigmatize mental health is to be authentic and approachable. We are committed to providing that realness in every course we provide!
TheraCourses not only redefines how we access supports, but also when. Here you will find not just a new perspective for existing struggles, but also psychoeducation and resources to prevent mental health concerns before they become crises. With the growing demand for mental health care, this is a desperately needed mindset shift!
